CHEDDAR, SOMERSET.

BUCKLEGROVE CARAVAN & CAMPING PARK.
RODNEY STOKE, CHEDDAR,SOMERSET.
BS27 3UZ.

SITE REVIEW.

Beautiful location on the south side of the Mendip Hills, with scenic views and some good walks. The site has about 120 touring pitches on a slightly sloping site with some level fields. The park is situated between Cheddar and Wells.
The Site has good facilities, which include; An Indoor heated Swimming pool, Bar/Restaurant, Children's play area, on site shop that does free ice pack exchange. The toilet and shower facilities are good and clean.
Due to it's location it is an ideal touring base.

In my view The park is excellent value, in a beautiful part of the country.

PLACES OF INTEREST

CHEDDAR; A lovely town, albeit fairly busy, with a good choice of bars and restaurants, with one in particular selling a very cheap steak meal.
The main attractions of the town, are the caves, which are well worth a visit.

WOOKEY HOLE; Another set of caves, but with added attractions of a paper mill old penny arcade, mirror maze. also well worth a visit.

WELLS ; Wells is another lovely town or should I say City,as it has a wonderful Cathedral, which everybody should visit when they're in this part of the Country.

WESTON-SUPER-MARE; A traditional seaside resort with a promenade and piers.
